Das ultimative Crossover Segel in der SEVERNE Range.  Mit Wave- und Starkwindpotential in den kleinen Größen, über  Leichtwind Freeride bis zum „High-Wind Blasting“ – mit dem Gator holst Du das Maximum aus JEDER Session.

Das GATOR wird den unterschiedlichsten Bedingungen gerecht und ist dabei – je nach Größe – vom Schnitt perfekt angepasst und ausbalanciert. 100% X-Ply sorgen nicht nur für ein weiches Segelgefühl, sondern auch für Langlebigkeit und hohe Belastbarkeit.

Insgesamt 14 Größen von 3,7 bis 8,0m² stehen zur Wahl.  In den kleineren Größen ist das Segel sehr manöverorientiert und eignet sich für den Wave Einsatz. Der “Freemove” Einsatz geht bis 7,0m², die Freeride Modelle mit 7,5m² und 8,0m² besitzen 6 Latten. 

Eine kurze Gabel sorgt für einfaches Handling in Manövern und auch das Unterliek wurde entsprechend der Segelgröße und des Einsatzbereichs ausgeschnitten.  Ein höher ausgeschnittenes Unterliek sorgt für weniger Druck bei Sprüngen und mehr Freiheit in der Welle, wobei ein tieferes Unterliek bei größeren Segeln noch mehr Vortrieb bietet.

MOTO _Premium Freeride

The Moto morphs two sails into a single sail that transcends performance boundaries. 

Combining the speed and stability of the Overdrive with the lightweight user-friendliness of the Turbo, the Moto simplifies all aspects of freeride. One sail for all. 

The high skin tension combined with a two cam / seven batten frame create enough structural rigidity for the Moto to match a slalom sail for top-end speed. Shorter boom lengths are matched with a deeper profile and race-tuned leading edge to increase lift, reduce drag and balance the backhand pressure.

Demand for SEVERNE harness lines has finally been satisfied. Rather than just re-badge any generic harness line, we evaluated what was required to improve on anything in the market. Durability, safety and performance were the 3 factors we identified, and have addressed each point;

DURABILITY
Stronger tubing results in less rope wear. We have developed custom extrusion with a thicker wall (2mm) and using high-denisity PU. Strong nylon webbing replaces standard poly-prop for increased UV resisitance and less wear.

SAFETY
Coloured tube hides any sign of rope wear, so the first you know of it is when the harness line snaps out at sea. We keep it clear so any signs of rope wear are clearly visible.

Minimal swing design keeps the harness line in position.

With more people running freeride and slalom sails on RDM masts, the necessity for a 3-pulley RDM extension became obvious.

Design focused on reducing downhaul friction for easier rigging. Careful attention to rope alignment and pulleyspacing has enabled significant improvements. Perfectlymatched to any sail with the 4-roller tack pulley, the Triple Xtension also suits sails with the 3-roller tack pulley. Other features include Dyneema rope, and an integrated hook to anchor the tack strap.

The FoilGlide 3 is NOT just a freeride sail with ‘Foil’ written on it… Specifically designed for foiling with focus on the following points;

LIGHTWEIGHT. 

This is one of the most important characteristics. And we do lightweight sails better than anyone.

HIGH CENTRE OF LIFT. 

Increases leverage for efficiency. Improves pumpability. 

STABLE. 

Reduced draft movement means there’s less influence on trim. Better to keep everything constant. Cams keep the sail profile stable and minimize any movement.

Better control. The shorter boom length allows you to adjust your stance easily.
After the success of our foil racing sail, the HyperGlide, we have created a user-friendly freeride version – the FoilGlide. Sharing a lot of technology and ideology these sails are the ultimate for foiling.

The high-aspect design is more stable, more efficient, and more controllable. The shorter boom lengths are easy to manage, and position the Centre of Effort directly above the foil. Combined with a tighter leech, the leverage is increased which gets you up and foiling with a smaller sail in lighter winds.

With only 5 battens and lightweight construction, the physical weight of these sails is significantly less than other sails. For foiling this makes maintaining trim much easier, and just a lot more fun to use.
