• On-Wave Behaviour: The pull comes slightly from the back hand, providing continuous feedback to the rider
whether wave riding or jumping. In turns, this translates to drive both off the bottom and through the top turn,
which is useful in onshore setups or less ideal wave shapes.
• Aerial Control: In the air, the steady power point and direct response keep it controllable and reactive. It
focuses heavily on control, especially in its upper wind range.
THE TECHNICAL ASSETS
• Foil Feel Geometry: Slightly higher aspect ratio than the FLOW. The FLASH gives you a stable, foil-like
feeling in the hands, granting good stability and a very direct rider-sail connection.
• Rigid Framework: The front luff panel is constructed from X-Ply with a pre-shaped profile. This creates a
stable power source that is always available and ready to accelerate.
• Extended Power Release: To manage all this raw power, the leech profile is more open, helping to release
excess energy efficiently. This allows you to push hard without losing control.
• Built to last: Strong reinforcements and durable X-Ply window to survive heavy wipeouts.
AEROFIT BOOM POSITIONING (ABP)
The Flash features the Aerofit Boom Positioning System, which helps the rider to reduce the open inefficient slot
around the boom and personalise the boom cut out to his personal boom height. This results in a more direct feel,
less movement in the sail body in the chop and improved low end by better aerodynamics.
LEECH TUNING (AWR)
The Adaptive Wind Release system (AWR) provides two distinct personalities in one sail. Open it for a looser,
more surf-oriented feel, or close it for maximum drive, leverage, and performance.
