You want power that allows you to link wave sections but drops away when it is not
needed, allowing you to focus on expressing your style. The forward-focused power point creates a
light feeling on the back hand.
• Aerial control:
Drive comes on in the front section to establish speed, but can be switched off quickly to
control big airs. You want a forgiving character that makes landing difficult moves easier.
• Sizing Choice:
Extended low-end, allowing riders to use a smaller sail size for added agility!
THE TECHNICAL ASSETS
• Luff Panel Configuration: Shorter luff for a very compact feeling. Evolving from the original 4-Wave LTD,
the Flow uses a soft Dacron luff panel to create forward drive and low-end power. This sail gets you planing
super early, delivering power in a smooth and controlled manner rather than aggressively.
• Responsive Profile: The sail has a distinct on/off behavior, moving you onto the plane before
becoming neutral through turns. A slightly more open leech profile improves high-end stability while keeping
the forgiving character riders expect, staying composed as the wind increases.
• Efficiency Improvements: The Power Panel Design implements a wider midsection to improve efficiency.
This builds enough usable power to allow for an optional downsizing by one size, which yields lighter
handling and faster rotations.
• Built to last: Strong reinforcements and durable X-Ply window to survive heavy wipeouts.
AEROFIT BOOM POSITIONING (ABP)
The Flow features the Aerofit Boom Positioning System, which allows the rider to reduce the open inefficient slot
around the boom and personalise the boom cut out to his personal boom height. This results in a more direct feel,
less movement in the sail body in the chop and improved low end by better aerodynamics.
LEECH TUNING (AWR)
By using the Adaptive WInd Release system (AWR), riders can easily adjust the character of the sail.
Opening it provides an even looser, surf-oriented feel with a greater release, while closing it secures more
locked-in power and improved traction.
