a performance compromise. The Fuel functions at a
professional World Cup level for high-performance wave riding
to intermediate sailors
and jumping, yet remains entirely accessible to intermediate sailors
because it is exceptionally easy to control.
• Target Rider:
Created for riders who want one sail that can handle different environments. Whether riding
waves, blasting on flat water, sailing bump-and-jump, or using a freemove board, this design adapts to
your day.
• Handling Synthesis: It combines the neutral handling elements of the Flow with the drive and
precision of the Flash.
• Balanced Power: The centered power point provides an ideal balance: offering good low-end power
for early planing while maintaining control when the wind increases. It has the widest wind-range of
all three sails while working incredibly well across all skill levels and disciplines.
THE TECHNICAL ASSETS
• 5-Batten Framework: At its core, the Fuel uses a re-engineered 5-batten construction. This layout delivers
stability, a wide wind range, and structural confidence across different conditions. It provides both a
wide natural range and a highly tunable spectrum.
• Hybrid Luff Panel: The front luff section integrates design lessons from both the Flow and Flash, combining
pre-shaped power with soft Dacron. This allows the sail to feel stable and powerful while delivering its
energy in a soft, controllable manner.
• Built to last: Strong reinforcements and durable X-Ply window to survive heavy wipeouts.
AEROFIT BOOM POSITIONING (ABP)
The Fuel features the Aerofit Boom Positioning System, which allows the rider to reduce the open inefficient slot
around the boom and personalise the boom cut out to his personal boom height. This results in a more direct
feel, less movement in the sail body in the chop and improved low end by better aerodynamics.
LEECH TUNING (AWR)
The Adaptive Wind Release System (AWR) lets riders fine-tune the sail’s behaviour and response. Open the AWR
for a playful wave session or close it for more power and drive.
