A completely reimagined wave range from 78 to 100 liters, this totally new design concept by Remi Vila notably improves wave riding without performance or planing compromise. Inviting riders of any level to turn more over the front foot, while maintaining speed and enjoying an adaptable radius throughout bottom and top turn. Ultra light, yet strong and sturdy with countless of hours of heavy duty testing. You will love it!

An allround waveboard excelling in Euro-Wave conditions, where snappy turns in smaller and control in big, choppy wind waves are of essence. All new narrow ULTRAs feature lots of volume in the center, thinner rails towards the tail and only a small tail kick. Turns & Control; the recessed deck is a design feature we haven’t yet seen in wave boards and was thoroughly tested by Flo Jung, Antoine Martin and Nico Prien. It’s a remarkable feeling in the turns when the rails bite into the water at the slightest input, yet can never get too loaded, even when leaning in with all of your weight. A smooth controlled feel of staying connected to the water, even through chop on the wave, which gives you confidence to ride faster and closer to the lip. For progressing wave sailors, a lower mast foot position helps advancing wave sailors balance their weight more forward, maintaining momentum easier and getting to the lip with more speed. Extra volume in the center keeps you floating in light wind and thanks to the easy-to-engage rail you can ride a larger size board without compromising on tight and radical turns. In lighter winds, you can get planning with less pressure in your sail as the thickness of the board gives plenty of flotation and low resistance as the board pushes through the water. Jump higher; thinner rails and less volume in the tail improve turning with the waves, and also let you carve better into a wave when setting up for a jump. Landing jumps is friendlier on your ankles, because you’re landing on less board volume.

FEATURES

• Radical Rockerline – A strong scoop starting from the center and increasing towards the nose. This helps to avoid nose dives in steep waves and allows for aggressive front foot riding, while the rocker towards the tail is very modest, providing easy planing and good top speed.

• Narrow Body – The magic combination is the fast rocker with the narrow outline. Aggressive turns with a super adaptable radius in any situation. The modest tail kick gives great planing power and speed for such a narrow board. A perfect combination.

• Swallow Tail Shape – The swallow tail shape is featured on all sizes. Compared to a rounded or pin tail it makes the board more compact and allows for tight turns. It keeps the board more connected to the wave and improves the grip so you can push your carving game to the next level.

• Thin Rails – Super thin rails in the tail section with a smooth transition to the center make for effortless turning and plenty of grip.

• Mono to Double Concave – A classic mono concave nose feeds into an innovative double concave in mono concave mid section, before blending smoothly into a solidly vee’d mild double concave tail.

• Centred Volume – With a narrower outline, extra volume is added around the centerline, improving consistency and confidence in marginal conditions. Get planing sooner and maintain momentum and flow in critical situations.

• Starbox: Less Weight, faster set up – Less weight, faster set up: Featuring two lightweight Starboxes and one US-Box reduces critical swing weight from the tail. More reactivity. The Starbox system allows you to fit Slot Box fins within five seconds each, while retaining your last settings. Get back on the water faster. It is also compatible with US box fins.

• Locked and comfortable stance – The Drake footstraps are made from Yulex foam with the smoothest fabric for a comfortable feel. Under your feet the 10mm thick footpads with a diamond grooving pattern provide the necessary grip and comfort over extended sessions while being resistant to wear-and-tear.

• Kicker Pad – The rear pad is equipped with a kicker ramp, which allows better lock in the rear strap by twisting the foot when needed.

The all new HYPER; a pure quad-fin, power wave weapon. Developed with Antoine Martin, winner of the last Aloha Classic Worldcup on Maui and renowned for his progressive riding style.

Versatility is great, but some days it matters less and you really want to live on the edge. You need that little bit extra. Less compromise, more extreme. Time to go Hyper. With pure performance sizes ranging from 78 to 93 liters, the new Hyper is all out radical. Built on a narrow outline and tail platform, sharp and thin rails towards the rear combine with a pronounced concave tail to perfectly match the powerful quad-fin setup, resulting in lightning fast reactions and great adaptability to fast and powerful breaking waves, whilst ensuring infinite drive, confident grip and control in high speed bottom turns.
Featuring an innovative double-in-mono concave mid section and an aggressive rockerline, the Hyper looks for more sail pressure to get going, but keeps you connected to turn on a dime, while remaining secure on critical moves.

Suitable for side-onshore conditions with smaller waves if you are an advanced sailor and like to surf powered up.
Ideally the Hyper is tailored to anyone looking for the most secure and radical rides in steep, powerful waves in side to sideoffshore wind.

FEATURES

• Radical Rockerline – With plenty of scoop and tail kick, this board allows for most radical turns. To get it going you will need more sail pressure than compared to the ULTRA or Kode, but in return you will have more confidence going through critical sections and quickly adapt to fast and powerful waves.

• Narrow Body – Cut deep. A narrow outline and drawn in tail and nose allow for the tightest radius turns, even on the larger boards.

• Swallow Tail Shape – The narrow swallow tail shape is featured on all sizes. Slightly longer than on the ULTRA, in faster waves this keeps enough rail in the water, even with a more extreme tail kick. Less volume in the tail makes landings after high jumps more smooth.

• Thin Rails – Extra thin rails in the tail section with a smooth transition to the center make for effortless turning and a lot of grip to hold the power of big waves and strong wind.

• Bottom Shape – Up front a vee’d double concave nose feeds into the flat double concave mid section, before blending into a single concave tail.

• Extra volume midsection – With a narrower outline, extra volume is added around the centerline, improving consistency and confidence in marginal conditions. Get planing sooner and maintain momentum and flow in critical situations.

• Starbox : Less weight, faster set up – Featuring four ultra lightweight Starboxes reduces critical swing weight from right out on the tail. More reactivity.
The Starbox system allows you to fit Slot Box fins within five seconds each, while retaining your previous settings. Get back on the water faster. It is also compatible with US box fins.

Different wave spots, different conditions and different styles of riding make it really difficult to develop a high-level production wave board... but our QT-WAVE is the answer for those who want to travel light and play in any kind of wind and wave conditions.

With the 5 fin boxes (1x US, 4x Slot) you can setup the board as Singlefin, Twinser, Trailer, Tri-Fin, Thruster, Quad and even Trailer Quad (5Fin). With all these options you can perfectly adapt the QT-Wave to your style of riding and the type of waves the spot is offering.

SHAPE

Optical aspects & Footpads
With the new graphics influenced by Italian designer Fabio Canella we have created a colourful but still clean board design. The 6mm thick diamond groove grip pad has an extra 6mm soft sponge under-layer which makes it 12mm in total. The special layup uses the hard layer to spread the load onto a wider board surface via the soft bottom layer of the pad. This gives us more impact resistance while keeping a direct feeling under your feet.

Shape & Outline
Balanced and pretty. Shaped by hand. After thousands of boards shaped the experience and precision of our shaper Patrik Diethelm will easily outperform any CNC software. The result is a perfect shape with a beautifully flowing outline. The wider front section gives you enough lift in the nose area to go planing early and to be able to hit the whitewater late. The narrow tail gives you that agressive feeling when moving the board from rail to rail. Enjoy maximum grip in carved top turns. Choose between carving and throwing spray or sliding and new-school tricks on the wave. This board will never hold you back.

Scoop-Rocker and Bottom Contour
New Single into double concave into vee concept that creates more rocker on the rail line while keeping a moderate rocker in the center. This gives you the best of both worlds. Good accelleration and speed on the straight and more response and a playful radical feeling in the turns. A slight tail kick under your backfoot allows you adapt your turns to the wave any time. Progressive bottom shape with deeper concaves on the smaller sizes for more control. Connect fast sections with ease, throw some big spray... The new QT can do it all.

Fins & Fin Boxes
The QT-Wave comes with 4x PATRIK Power wave (PW) fins. Center US 8” box to allow the use of bigger single fins. 4 side slot boxes to save weight.

Inserts
Each insert offers 4-positions and on the front strap has a double plug to be able and change width and angle for different foot size and riding style.

Volume distribution
The balanced thickness under your feet and around the mast track is one of the key points to create a good allround wave board. A light dome deck allows as to keep thinner rails while 'hiding' some volume in the center of the board. This trick also improves the stiffness and break resistance of the construction. The much thinner tail area gives you control, grip and manoeuvrability.

Rails / Tucked
The round rails & tuck starting in the nose area make the board feel smooth troughout the turn. Round rails give you control and also more grip. Under the mast track the tucked show a slightly more visible edge which gets a little sharper between the straps and ends up sharp right behind the back strap for early planning acceleration and top speed.

Deck Shape
The smooth balance ov the whole shape is being carried over into all details. The light domed deck is more round at the front foot for a comfortable stand and good grip in the straps when planing and jumping. More flat under the backfoot for a better connection to the wave.

CONSTRUCTION

The topic where opinions split radically. But at the end of day let the advanced riders prove that our construction is built to last. The full carbon/kevlar deck is light and stiff with a good impact resistance. The Biax glass fibres on the bottom give you that controlled extra flex our riders love for the big turns and hard landings. Important fact: The softer biax glass spreads the load much better into the 3d construction than a full carbon bottom would. This results in better flex, better strength and better overall performance, while saving on production costs where it's not needed to offer you a more affordable board. Patrik Diethelms knowlede in composite construction is unmatched in the windsurf industry. This is our way of creating sustainable products that will last you many years when used correctly.

OVERVIEW

This new concept in our range is made for the airtime lovers who don’t want to sacrifice the wave riding. The PATRIK F-Wave is most probably the fastest waveboard ever that still performs well in small to medium waves. With a Powerbox for the center fin of the thruster setup we leave it entirely up to you which fin to choose to go fast and jump high or ride waves and slice turns.
Following the success of the 75, 85 and 95, Patrik Diethelm shaped the 105 and 115 which are new for 2023. These bigger sizes have a new rockerline with increased Vee. They feel small on the wave, but carry all the volume you need to be the first one planing. If you love to play in different conditions, the new F-Wave is here for you!

SHAPE & CONSTRUCTION

OPTICAL ASPECT & FOOTPADS

SHAPE
The very fast rocker line with rather little rocker is planning very quick. The “bat-tail” and side cut-outs have a similar effect like on a slalom board and release the water earlier and drive the board up to top speed in no time and make the board feel loose on the straight line and agile in the turns.

SCOOP-ROCKER
Very fast rocker line with little rocker for top planning, acceleration and top speed.

VOLUME DISTRIBUTION
Same as the QT-wave it has a balanced thickness under the feet and mast track to be close in contact with the fins for good control, grip and manoeuvrability but it is still thick enough to be able and push for top speed and high jumps.

OUTLINE
In comparison to the QT-wave it is wider at “1-foot” to be able and push even more for planning, acceleration and top speed. The cut-out on the tail bottom is a kind of hidden winger which reduces the tail width in the back-strap area and brings similar advantages. The reduced surface let the water release earlier and increases especially acceleration and top speed but it also helps to tilt the board over into the bottom turn and roll back easier into the cutback.

BOTTOM SHAPE
The goal was a fast controlled smooth ride and this we achieved with a single concave under the mast track running into a “double concaved V” under the straps on the two smaller boards while the bigger board performed best with the “double concaved V” running all the way through the bottom.

RAILS/TUCK
To improve the turning ability on the wider shape we reduced the rail thickness in comparison to the QT-wave. For better and faster release, the tuck is a bit sharper as well and improve the early planning acceleration and top speed.

DECK SHAPE
Flat decks are ankle breakers when it comes to push for top speed and the reduced rail thickness in combination with the slighty thicker center of the board makes the deck more domy and much more comfortable when fully planning in the straps. The extra dome under the back foot helps to get more grip during rotations.

FINS
The F-wave comes equiped with 3x PATRIK fins as a classic Thruster Setup with a bigger center fin and smaller side fins. This has proven to be the fastest setup for waves and jumping. The Center Powerbox allows the use of bigger Centerfins without the risk of breaking the board. The slot box sides save weight and leave you with enough trim options.

INSERTS

THE ONLY NARROW BODY SHAPE ON THE MARKET?

This shape is not followed by the trend and it is developed with true dedicated Freeriders. Wide body shapes are more stable for uphauling the sail but we agreed that this is needed more for entry level beginner boards and the Freerider is the more advanced rider with different needs. Our shape has a straighter outline and is a bit longer and the advantages are simply a more comfortable and balanced sailing position with planning and upwind performance

SHAPE DETAILS

Optical aspect & Footpad:

With the new graphic aspect influenced by Italian designer Fabio Canella we are taking a new direction and be more coloured while still keep it simple.

The 6mm thick over-dotted diamond groove grip pad has an extra 6mm soft sponge under-layer which makes it total 12mm and very nice and comfortable.

Shape Info “short”:

The extra length on the flat area under the straps is more stable across the axle and forgives wrong foot pressure so that the board keeps on riding like in cruise control modus. Besides that, passive planning (no pumping) is significantly better. The narrower width makes it easier to step into the straps and have both legs balanced in a comfortable position which makes any sailing direction especially going upwind much easier.

Scoop-Rocker:

Extra longer flat between the straps for better passive planning and more longitudinal stability when sailing along.

Volume distribution:

An almost even foot position height under the straps makes the ride and the upwind sailing almost feel effortless and the flat deck provides the save standing platform.

Outline:

The narrower width and the more parallel lines are closer to the center line and makes it much easier to find the straps and step into the sailing position and keep on driving the board to the speed you feel comfortable with. As well the jibing is easier and the narrow width tilt effortless to the leeward side into the curve and the wider tail keeps the board length in the water and drive through the jibes much easier.

Bottom Shape:

Double concaved V with stabilizing side flats from nose to the front strap to absorb the chop and give it a comfortable ride and then blend into a flat panel V all the way to the tail for all-round cruising stability and easy rail to rail transitions in manoeuvres.

Rails / Tuck:

The boxy rails make the maximum width float stable in non-planning conditions. As well trough the jibe the rail floats nicely and just keeps on going through the whole turn. The sharp tail edges show a clean water release for best planning and acceleration performance.

Deck Shape:

Both strap positions are designed to have enough dome and curve to have a comfortable stance when using any of the inside or outside positions.

Inside and outside strap position on both straps with an extra center possibility in the tail area. Each insert has 4-positions for individual settings.

CONSTRUCTION

For this board the blind testing with plain white boards proved that our Biax glass fibre is the choice over the Carbon construction. The reason is simple, the Carbon hard and physical and distributes the vibration much more and the Biax glass fibre has the extra flex and absorbs the vibration for a more comfortable and controlled ride whereas most riders proofed to be faster on head to head speed tests.

Different wave spots, conditions, styles and likes makes it difficult to develop production wave board but with our QT-WAVE the answer for those who want to travel light and play in all kind of wave conditions. The 5x fin boxes makes it possible to setup the board from Single to Thruster over Twinzer and Quad and trim the board for the prevailing conditions and individual likes.

Optical aspect & Footpad

With the new graphic aspect influenced by Italian designer Fabio Canella we are taking a new direction and be more coloured while still keep it simple.

The 6mm thick over-dotted diamond groove grip pad has an extra 6mm soft sponge under-layer which makes it total 12mm and very nice and comfortable.

Shape

The fast rocker line with early planning and acceleration ability in combination with the controllable bottom shape and the outline with winger in the tail is the mix to make this “allrounder” outstanding.

Scoop-Rocker

Fast rocker line with top planning and acceleration ability and a touch of extra tail rocker for tight turns and big sprays.

Fin

The QT-wave comes equiped with 4x PATRIK Power wave (PW) fins.

Fin boxes

Center US 8” to be able and move the wider single fins with 4x side Slot boxes to save weight.

Inserts

Each insert has 4-positions and on the front strap has a double plug to be able and change width and angle for different foot size and riding style.

Volume distribution

The balanced thickness under the feet and mast track is one of the key points to have a good allrounder. Thin under the back foot to be connected with the fins gives control, grip and manoeuvrability but still thick enough to push for speed and high jumps.

Outline

As well here the balance plays a big role and the tail width in front of the back foot is wide enough to push for early planning and acceleration while the winger reduced the tail width right behind the foot to be able and carve trough bottom turns and roll the board easier into the cutback.

Bottom Shape

The smaller boards have more and deeper “double concaved V” which absorbs the chop and increases control and tracking while on the bigger boards the single concave under the straps helps the early planning for the big boys.

Rails / Tuck

The round rails & tuck starting in the nose area makes the board feel smooth trough the turn. Under the mast track the tucked show a slightly more visible edge which gets a little sharper between the straps and ends up sharp right behind the back strap for early planning acceleration and top speed.

Deck Shape

The balance is carried over into all details and so has the deck a nice curved shape for an easy save standing platform while crossing the white water and finally a comfortable stands and good grip in the straps when planning and jumping.

CONSTRUCTION

The topic where opinions split radically but after all the proof is the choice of the pro riders and this is what we want to offer you and nothing less.

Our full deck Carbon Kevlar is lightness and impact strong whereas the Biax fibre on the bottom is giving the extra flex you want for the turns and landing.
