POWER.XT 2.0 RDM

Hard to see, but true: The POWER.XT 2.0 has been completely redesigned. besides the basic idea it has almost nothing in common with its predecessor. From the brand new, extremely solid ratchet mechanism, the simplified release function and the high-strength Lyros® Dyneema rope up to the possibility to upgrade the POWER.XT 2.0 with a damper function - the POWER.XT 2.0 can do so much more and everything better.


Since its introduction 10 years ago the POWER.XT is the unmatched standard, when it comes to extensions with trim aids. Anyone who has used it once never wants to be without it. Thanks to the integrated lever it handles all downhaul forces and allows precise trim adjustments and fine tuning even on the water. Even kids can use it to cope the extreme downhaul tension of modern slalom sails. Each profile is adjusted with millimeter precision in seconds. The 15 cm long lever and the power ratio of 1:60 enable absolutely power-saving trimming.

In recent years continuous evolution and research in materials, specifically in the sails field, has requested a proper answer of all others components too.
AL 360, who has always been attentive to the material evolution and look after innovation, research and development to be able to come up with new concepts and projects in step with times.
Once again, AL 360 Team took up the challenge and they're bringing to light a completely new and redesigned boom, planned for the new contest: FR - FOIL to give maximum performance when using foil and freeride sails.

FR - Foil is a 100% carbon boom made with best carbon pre-impregnated fiber (pre-peg) on the world market, produced by the global's leading Toray. The same carbon fiber used in aerospace sector and in the Formula One field too.
In what concerns resins, we used toughened resins that are necessary to ensure maximum rigidity and durability, and in order to provide a renovated boom's strength, always a guarantee of our 100% made in Italy products.
This new boom is designed from a study that specifically looks at the new curves, that have been completely rethought to better adapt to the new 2020's sails, to create the rigth mix in order to expressing the sails maximum performance.
And as a cherry on top, for FR - Foil we have also redesigned the backend, that its wider than the previous E3 carbon model.

Demand for SEVERNE harness lines has finally been satisfied. Rather than just re-badge any generic harness line, we evaluated what was required to improve on anything in the market. Durability, safety and performance were the 3 factors we identified, and have addressed each point;

DURABILITY
Stronger tubing results in less rope wear. We have developed custom extrusion with a thicker wall (2mm) and using high-denisity PU. Strong nylon webbing replaces standard poly-prop for increased UV resisitance and less wear.

SAFETY
Coloured tube hides any sign of rope wear, so the first you know of it is when the harness line snaps out at sea. We keep it clear so any signs of rope wear are clearly visible.

PERFORMANCE
Minimal swing design keeps the harness line in position.

OVERVIEW

The FoilRace is the easier little sister of our pure foil competition machine FoilCompV2. It is able to match the FoilComp's race performance by 98% but is a little more rider friendly than its competition equivalent.
As said before the outline and concept is very close and similar to the FoilCompV2 but less extreme in the details. The cutouts are designed to favour passive accelleration a little better than on the FoilCompV2. They still allow for active pumping and sinking of the tail with raked foils. If you are looking for one foil board to cover any flatwater conditions from freeride to racing this board is for you.
