2023 slalom

OVERVIEW

The PATRIK Slalom gives you the raw accelleration, the control in the chop and in the jibes plus the massive top speed you need to win on the race course or just spritz all your friends at your local spot. If you need ultimate performance - this board is for you.

WHAT'S NEW TO THE PREVIOUS MODEL:
- Modified computer-optimised cutout contours for reduced drag, better waterflow, more accelleration and more topspeed.
- New lowered masttrack: A lowered sail position results in a lowered general center of gravity which significantly improves highend control.
- Optimised strength-to-weight ratio and new graphics by Fabio Canella

CONSTRUCTION

115, 125, 130, 140 – The full deck Carbon Biax with the full Carbon UD bottom is the construction combination to have the lightest and stiffest board for maximum early planning, acceleration and riding agility.

85, 90, 95, 100 – The full deck Carbon Biax with the full fiberglass bottom is the combination of lightweight, stiffness and flex for early planning, acceleration and control in extreme conditions.

2024 Foil Move

OVERVIEW

The FoilMove is a more advanced shape for windsurfers who want a foilboard in between a FoilStyle and a FoilRide. The narrow shape is harder to control but at the same time easier to jump and of course more aerodynamically stable in strong winds. Cutouts allow for active pumping and earliest flight even on wave and freeride foil sails. Enjoy the FoilMove with smaller sails in any windspeed from 10 to 30 knots and any conditions from flatwater to waves. If it's speedruns, foiltacks, flying 360s, jumps, foilloops... the FoilMove is your new weapon of choice. It works best with light wave or freemove sails like our 5Wave and X-Cross or our pure foil freeride sail RideFoil. Chose a narrow foil that suits the tailwidth well like our 1100 or 900 A.I.O. frontwings.

2024 Foil Ride

OVERVIEW

The FoilRide is the easiest to ride out of our five (!) pure foil boards, the FoilCompV2, the FoilRace, the FoilRide, the FoilMove and the FoilStyle.
It's a little narrower in the tail than the FoilRace and the FoilComp. The FoilRide doesn't have cutouts which makes the accelleration more even, easier to control and more stable. Usually freeriders don't use a lot of rake on the foil mast so the additional sinking of the tail as a scondary result of the cutouts is not needed to give the foil a positive angle of attack. It's way more important to give the rider the confidence and safety to gain trust in foiling quickly and improve from session to session.
Of course our cutouts design have the more agressive accelleration and get to the flight earlier but at the same time the passive accelleration (without pumping sail and board) is really impressive on the FoilRide. The mastrack doesn't come with the deck recess, which is not needed in freeriding, so the board is less vulnerable to deck damage while you're learning to master the foil. The advanced aerodynamics of this board will give you the smoothest and easiest ride on a windfoil you can possibly imagine.

The wider the board the earlier the flight and the easier the jibes. The narrower the board the better the aerodynamics in strong winds resulting in a more controlled flight.

2024 Foil Race (made in Ukraine by Airinside)

OVERVIEW

The FoilRace is the easier little sister of our pure foil competition machine FoilCompV2. It is able to match the FoilComp's race performance by 98% but is a little more rider friendly than its competition equivalent.
As said before the outline and concept is very close and similar to the FoilCompV2 but less extreme in the details. The cutouts are designed to favour passive accelleration a little better than on the FoilCompV2. They still allow for active pumping and sinking of the tail with raked foils. If you are looking for one foil board to cover any flatwater conditions from freeride to racing this board is for you.

OVERVIEW

An easy-learning maneuverable beginner board for all surf schools and for you and your family and kids too.
Our unique colour-guided learning method will help you to teach and learn windsurfing in no time. Predefinded foot positions will help the beginner and intermediate to find the correct stance and balance quickly. The board also indicates the right of way rules on the water where the starboard tack got priority.
This board is praised by many surf schools world-wide. The E-Ride is the smart-learning windsurf board you will come to love from day one.

Our beginner board does also work extremly well for Wing-Surfing lessons as it reacts quickly to the lightest steering commands!
The E-Ride feels smaller than traditional school boards. Choose the 205 for an 85kg+ person, elderly people or people with physical or mental disabilities. Kids should always learn in the 165 or switch to the Micro-Ride 115 as early as possible.

THE ONLY NARROW BODY SHAPE ON THE MARKET?

This shape is not followed by the trend and it is developed with true dedicated Freeriders. Wide body shapes are more stable for uphauling the sail but we agreed that this is needed more for entry level beginner boards and the Freerider is the more advanced rider with different needs. Our shape has a straighter outline and is a bit longer and the advantages are simply a more comfortable and balanced sailing position with planning and upwind performance

SHAPE DETAILS

Optical aspect & Footpad:

With the new graphic aspect influenced by Italian designer Fabio Canella we are taking a new direction and be more coloured while still keep it simple.

The 6mm thick over-dotted diamond groove grip pad has an extra 6mm soft sponge under-layer which makes it total 12mm and very nice and comfortable.

Shape Info “short”:

The extra length on the flat area under the straps is more stable across the axle and forgives wrong foot pressure so that the board keeps on riding like in cruise control modus. Besides that, passive planning (no pumping) is significantly better. The narrower width makes it easier to step into the straps and have both legs balanced in a comfortable position which makes any sailing direction especially going upwind much easier.

Shape Info “Detailed”:

Scoop-Rocker:

Extra longer flat between the straps for better passive planning and more longitudinal stability when sailing along.

Volume distribution:

An almost even foot position height under the straps makes the ride and the upwind sailing almost feel effortless and the flat deck provides the save standing platform.

Outline:

The narrower width and the more parallel lines are closer to the center line and makes it much easier to find the straps and step into the sailing position and keep on driving the board to the speed you feel comfortable with. As well the jibing is easier and the narrow width tilt effortless to the leeward side into the curve and the wider tail keeps the board length in the water and drive through the jibes much easier.

Bottom Shape:

Double concaved V with stabilizing side flats from nose to the front strap to absorb the chop and give it a comfortable ride and then blend into a flat panel V all the way to the tail for all-round cruising stability and easy rail to rail transitions in manoeuvres.

Rails / Tuck:

The boxy rails make the maximum width float stable in non-planning conditions. As well trough the jibe the rail floats nicely and just keeps on going through the whole turn. The sharp tail edges show a clean water release for best planning and acceleration performance.

Deck Shape:

Both strap positions are designed to have enough dome and curve to have a comfortable stance when using any of the inside or outside positions.

Fin boxes:

Deep Tuttle Foilbox

Inserts:

Inside and outside strap position on both straps with an extra center possibility in the tail area. Each insert has 4-positions for individual settings.

CONSTRUCTION

For this board the blind testing with plain white boards proved that our Biax glass fibre is the choice over the Carbon construction. The reason is simple, the Carbon hard and physical and distributes the vibration much more and the Biax glass fibre has the extra flex and absorbs the vibration for a more comfortable and controlled ride whereas most riders proofed to be faster on head to head speed tests.
