EASY, FUN AND FAST FREERIDE SAIL!

CONSTRUCTION

Ease of use but in a "PATRIK" way. This means that we don't cut any corner in the construction materials selected for our Freeride range. It's not a cheap material sail at all!
The luff panel is a 2.5 MIL x/scrim-ply which still inflates gently but is more robust and higher load resistant compared to the dacron.
The sail bottom part is made of 5 MIL x-ply material to give good protection against impacts without compromising the weight too much. The main window is a solid and thick 5 MIL monofilm which provides best combo between visibility, impact resistance and weight. All these things should still be combined with a good shape stability, which is a key factor in this area (main power of the sail). For the top part of the sail, we chose a 4 MIL blue tinted monofilm, which is lighter and adds UV-resistance where you don't need to see through.
As a further bonus, we chose a clear 5 MIL x-ply and blue 5 MIL x-ply along leech and top panel, to add a touch of wear resistance to the area which is always stressed while rigging and rolling the sail.

TRIM

The RideFR is an easy freeride maschine. We have put our optical indicators for the right amount of tension on the batten pockets. So just make sure you reach the suggested minimum downhaul at all times which the sail top to release pressure in the gusts. This will give you a smooth ride in choppy conditions and even more control and top speed.

air style Gen2 Freestyle (BITTE verfügbare Größen VOR Bestellung anfragen!)

OVERVIEW

A revolutionary shape concept that combines an extremely short and fast rocker line with a modern outline to create our most radical freestyle board ever.
More planing power, more speed, more pop. This board truely does everything better than the previous Airstyle generation.
The new 85 is the latest addition to the family for lighter riders and strong winds while the 92 is our PWA contest machine.
The 99 offers you early planing and amazing sliding and rotation abilities.

CONSTRUCTION

The lighter the board the easier the moves - but if the board breaks it is simply annoying to deal with repairs and losing sailing time.
Our pro riders chose a stronger construction over the light weight and we offer you what the Pro’s enjoy the most!!

Our full deck Carbon Kevlar is light but still impact strong and the Biax fibre on the bottom is giving the extra flex needed to absorb the uncountable landings.

    CONSTRUCTION

At PATRIK, "ease of use" never means cutting corners. We believe that a freeride sail should be user-friendly without sacrificing premium build quality. That is why our Freeride range is engineered using only high-grade, durable materials—offering a premium experience that stands far apart from standard, budget-constructed sails.

    Key Technical Features:

  • Advanced Luff Panel (2.5 MIL x/scrim-ply): Engineered to deliver smooth, gentle inflation while providing significantly higher load resistance and robustness compared to traditional dacron.

  • High-Stability Main Window (5 MIL Monofilm): The sail's core power comes from its exceptional shape stability. To support this, the main window features a solid, thick 5 MIL monofilm, striking the perfect balance between crystal-clear visibility, high impact resistance, and lightweight handling.

  • Experience uncompromised quality and effortless control on the water. That is freeriding, the PATRIK way.

  • Heavy-Duty Foot Protection (5 MIL X-Ply): The bottom section of the sail is reinforced with a robust 5 MIL x-ply material, offering maximum protection against impacts and board contact without compromising the sail's overall weight.

  • Weight-Optimized Upper Sail (4 MIL Blue-Tinted Monofilm): For the top section, we utilized a lighter 4 MIL blue-tinted monofilm. This reduces swing weight where visibility isn’t critical, while the integrated tint adds valuable UV resistance to extend the lifespan of your sail.

  • Reinforced Leech & Head (5 MIL Clear & Blue X-Ply): To safeguard against the daily wear and tear of rigging and rolling, we’ve added 5 MIL x-ply (in clear and blue) along the leech and top panels, providing extra durability to high-stress zones.

f-cross Freestyle-Wave Freecross  (BITTE verfügbare Größen VOR Bestellung anfragen!)

OVERVIEW

Simply call it as you wish. Call it “Freemove”, “Freestyle-Wave”, “Bump & Jump” or whatever, important to know is that this is the most versatile shape in our range.
To cruise along, carve some old-school manoeuvres, ride some waves, pop some new-school freestyle tricks, match-race your mate.... all this the F-Cross can do perfectly well and all you need to choose is your footstrap and fin setup.

FOIL-READY AS 124, 136 and 147:
The short and compact shape of the F-Cross works very well as a freeride foil board in the brand-new big sizes 124, 136 and 147. They are wide enough for a good foot offset (more control) and short enough for good aerodynamics in freeride foiling conditions.

Welcome to our most fun shape ever!

SHAPE

OPTICAL ASPECT & FOOTPADS
The 6mm thick diamond groove grip pad has an extra 6mm soft sponge under-layer which makes it a total of 12mm. It's very comfortable and it spreads out the load of your foot onto the deck construction well.

OUTLINE
A harmonic curve all the way through the length with a rounded off tail for the extra tight carving ability.

ROCKER LINE
Straight flat on the big size for best planning and acceleration performance in the light wind and constantly increasing rocker the smaller the board for more maneuverability and wave-oriented range of use.

VOLUME DISTRIBUTION
On the bigger sizes, the back-foot height is almost even with the front foot for early planning and straight-line performance. The smaller the boards the slightly thinner the tail with a lower back foot for more wave-oriented use.

BOTTOM SHAPE
Double concaved V with stabilizing side flats from the nose to the front strap to absorb the chop and give it a comfortable ride and then blend into a flat panel V all the way to the tail for all-around cruising stability and easy rail-to-rail transitions in maneuvers.

RAILS/TUCK
A bit thicker and boxier rails on the bigger boards for rail floatation and non-planning stability and slightly thinner and rounder on the smaller sizes for more carving and grip in the turns.

DECK SHAPE
At the tail strap the deck is designed to have enough dome and curve to give you a comfortable stance when using the center or the double straps. Light dome deck to hide volume in the board center and make the construction stiffer.

FIN & INSERTS
There is a Powerbox on all 4 smaller sizes (87, 94, 103, 113). While the 3 bigger sizes (124,136,147) have the foil-ready Deep Tuttle box. The F-cross comes equipped with a PATRIK fin, see the table below to see which PATRIK fin comes with which board. More inward insert plugs for a 3x strap setup and more outside inserts for a more racey 4x strap setup. Each insert has 4-positions for individual trim adjustment.

CONSTRUCTION

The topic where opinions split radically. But at the end of day let the advanced riders prove that our construction is built to last. The full carbon/kevlar deck is light and stiff with a good impact resistance. The Biax glass fibres on the bottom give you that controlled extra flex our riders love for the big turns and landings. Important fact: The softer biax glass spreads the load much better into the 3d construction than a full carbon bottom would. This results in better flex, better strength and better overall performance, while saving some money on production costs where it's not needed. Patrik Diethelms knowlede in composite construction is unmatched in the windsurf industry. This is our way of creating sustainable products that will last you many years when used correctly.

Patrik AEON Torx T30 Screwdriver

OVERVIEW

Make sure to order your accessories when you are composing your individual AEON set from single parts. Shimset, bag and screwdriver need to be ordered seperately but will be included in the complete foil sets. Protection covers are included with the masts, frontwings and backwings. All AEON screws (m6 and m8) use the TX40 head. Tuttle box screw length will vary according to the board you are using and for that reason are not included with AEON the foil. Always make sure your tuttle box screws are long enough and fully use the thread lengths of the inserts.

CONCEPT

DESIGN GOALS
Our target was to create high-performance foils with full compatibility for all foiling sports and disciplines.
We wanted this foil system to be commercially available at different price levels from the “whatever-it-takes world cup level” to the demanding needs of more price sensitive customers. The AEON has been designed for maximum control – easing the fight of mastering 3-dimensional flight for both the skilled world cup rider fighting in the pack and the indermediate rider. Having one connection system for wind-, wing-, prone- and kite-foiling is a massive economic advantage for multi sport users and allows every rider to find his perfect personal setup easily. At the same time the multi-sport option opens a much bigger market to resell AEON foil parts. The AEON will be vailable in our retail network as a complete high-performance foil system that can fulfil any waterman's wishes and needs. One system can do it all!

MAN VS. MACHINE
The massive success of the AEON-Foil in both Windsurfing AND Wing-Foiling is the result of our PATRIK R&D crew’s precise and hard work. Our products are being developed in a unique hybrid process where the human brain (knowledge) and hands (feeling) are clearly leading the computer aided design – not the other way around. Like this we’re able to design perfect products that no “A.I.” (artificial intelligence) could ever create.
Fun-Fact: CFD (computational fluid dynamic) programs are created by humans, fed with data based on past practical tests, but will never be able to calculate completely new results outside their given data range. The PATRIK-Crew is practically developing and testing gear outside that software range and our results will be used later to feed and update currently available CFD programs.

SINGLE PARTS VS. SETS
After our R&D Team had found peak performance in individual outlines and shapes they had individual wishes for flex and twist resulting in different “magic” combinations of AEON parts. Offering all parts separately gives the top riders the freedom to find their magic setup while the indermediate riders can choose the best combo for their budget.

3-CAM FREERACE SAIL COMBINING SLALOM PERFORMANCE AND FREERIDE HANDLING.

The GT3-FRC is the little sister of our competition slalom sail RaceSF. Many updates and modifications make this sail light and easy in your hands. At the same the GT3 doesn't lose its racing DNA. Fabio Canella and Patrik Diethelm gave it a more narrow mastsleeve while mainly keeping the original panels of the RaceSF. The softer mastsleeve material makes the sail more alive and a little more forgiving. Designed to work best on RDM masts, this sail will ship with a second set of cambers so it can be rigged on SDM too.

CONSTRUCTION

At first sight, this sail could appear just as an "orange" version of our freeride sail. But it's not! The GT-3 FRC is the true entry to the well-known PATRIK racing department and we selected the best materials accordingly.

Protected inside the sleeve there is a thick 7 MIL monofilm luff panel (same as in our pure racing 4-cam sails) which provides the best stiffness and a locked profile.

Then -going towards the clew- we added a full vertical set of 5 MIL x-ply panels before the main body panels. This "stripe" helps to smooth and control the direct feeling of the cambered sails and it adds some extra resistance to this high stressed area.

The main panels are a solid and thick 5 MIL clear monofilm (which provides best combo between weight and a good shape stability) and a 4 MIL orange tinted monofilm for the top part, where we maximize lightness and UV-resistance, since it's not needed to see through.

For the base and leech areas we kept 5 MIL x-ply materials. A real win-win mix: it gives protection to the most exposed zone of the sail and it keeps the rear edge of the sail stable and aerodynamically clean even in hi-wind choppy conditions.

TRIM

With the true DNA of a competition slalom sail, the GT3 needs the same downhaul than a modern racing sail. Use the colour prints on the batten sleeves as an indicator for the right amount of loose leech. Only with the open leech the sail will show it's full potential.

‌ KARIN JAGGI (24x World Champion)
"Sometimes the raw power of a pure competition sail is simply too much. With this sail I can have the same speed, same control but a way easier handling. The sailing is less physical and I might even be faster than on a competition slalom sail in the end. I recommend the GT3 to any rider who wants to be the fastest at the spot with a smile on his face."

PATRIK DIETHELM (Head of R&D)

"Sometimes the impossible is possible. This sail is super fast with almost the same high-end control than the RaceSF but with a much easier handling. Try it for yourself and you won't believe how stable and fast it is!"

ONE CROSSOVER WING FOR MAXIMUM FUN! PERFECT FOR BEGINNERS. ADVANCED TWIST FOR A WIDE WINDRANGE.

Eine Pumpe und Leash ist nicht im Lieferumfang!

OVERVIEW

An easy wing for everyone and our surfschool partners simlpy love it!
The Volant Cross is very forgiving yet at the same time offers a lot of drive and power to get you going early on the foil. Less tension on the canopy allows the wing to fill with wind early which makes it stable and easy to start for beginners. Two big PVC windows give you good visibility and make winging safer in crowded locations. The wing is designed with an increased twist and flex. It absorbs the gusts smoothly and got an extented windrange compared to stiffer wings. Of course more advanced riders would chose the Volant Cross V2 which got more power, more lift but it also a lot more difficult to ride.
It works perfectly on our A.I.O. Wingboards and for the cautious foil-scared beginner on the E-Ride and Micro-Ride too.
The multiple handles give you carefully chosen predefined grip positions, which we found is very helpful for learners.

f-ride Freeride  (BITTE verfügbare Größen VOR Bestellung anfragen!)

OVERVIEW

This board is the remedy for everyone frustrated by wide-body boards that simply don't work for everyone. The F-Ride might be the longest freeride board on the market. Wide-body boards surely have their benefits but from our understanding the intermediate freerider does not benefit too much from the extra width so why should we make the same mistake? So here comes our F-Ride. The extra length on the flat area under the straps makes the board more stable and more foregiving. Additionally the passive planing (no pumping) improves significantly. The narrower width makes it easier to step into the straps and have both legs balanced in a comfortable sailing position.

Don't mistake the extra length with being slow or lame. The F-Ride actually is planing early, accelleration well and carries a massive speed potential while being super forgiving at the same time. The big success of this board has proven us right. Loved by hundreds of windsurfers around the globe this board will take your freeriding to the next level!

SHAPE

DESIGN & FOOTPADS:

Colourful but clean. Italian design by Fabio Canella makes this board a timeless classic.
The 6mm thick diamond groove grip pad has an extra 6mm soft sponge under-layer
which makes it 12mm in total and most importantly very, very comfortable.

Scoop-Rocker:

Extra longer flat between the straps for better passive planing, more stability, easier tacking and jibing and a very fun and forgiving ride.

Volume distribution:

An almost even foot position height under both foot straps makes the riding and going upwind feel easy, balanced and almost effortless.

Outline:

The more stretched out outline with more parallel rails allows for easy starting, early passive planing, more drive in the jibes, easier tacks and a surprising top speed.

Bottom Shape:

Double concaved V with stabilizing side flats from nose to the front strap to absorb the chop and give it a comfortable ride and then blending into a flat panel V all the way to the tail for all-round cruising stability and easy rail-to-rail transitions in manoeuvres.

Rails / Tuck:

The boxy rails create a maximum width stable floating board in non-planning conditions. Also through the jibes the rail will float nicely and the board will keep its momentum. The sharp tail edges give the  cleanest water release for best planning and acceleration performance.

Deck Shape:

Both strap positions are designed to have enough dome and curve to have a comfortable stance when using any of the inside or outside positions. Enjoy are comfortable and controlled ride.

Fin box & inserts:

Deep Tuttle Foilbox. Inside and outside strap position on both straps with an extra center strap options in the tail area for beginners. Each insert has 4-positions for individual settings.

CONSTRUCTION

For this board the blind testing with plain white boards proved that our Biax glass fibre is the choice over the Carbon construction. The explanation is rather simple. The carbon fibres are hard and stiff and hard and forward the vibration and hits of the chop much more into the rider's body while the biax glass fibre gives you that extra flex and absorbs most of the vibration for a more comfortable and controlled ride. This extra control results in better top speeds. Most riders proved to be faster on this construction in head to head speed tests.

Patrik GT-3 Foil

Patrik GT3-Foil  (Bitte die Verfügbarkeit einzelner Größen vor Bestellung anfragen)
Freerace Foil

OVERVIEW

Directly based on our competition foil sails the GT3-Foil combines the lightness and smooth handling of a RDM sail with the locked feeling and speed of our pure racing sails. You will be amazed how light this 3-cam sail feels during the jibes or while starting. Its true racing DNA allows for a controlled and stable flight on the foil and the perfect aerodynamics of this high aspect design help to get planing and flying early. The softer and smaller mast sleeves makes the sail more forgiving and easier to waterstart as the sleeve takes less water when the sail gets dropped into the water. Camber rotation is soft and direct. On the fin this sail shines with exceptional control and balance for the advanced freerace rider while feeling light on the backhand no matter how hard the gusts are hitting. Conclusion: The GT3 is a super balanced sail with a broad range of use from foil slalom to fin freeracing.

CONSTRUCTION

At first sight, this sail could appear just as an "orange" version of our freeride sail but it's surely not! The GT-3 FOIL is the newest addition to the well-known PATRIK racing department and we selected the best materials accordingly. Protected inside the sleeve there is a thick 7 MIL monofilm luff panel (same as in our pure racing 4-cam sails) which provides the best stiffness for a locked profile.
Then -going towards the clew- we added a full vertical set of 5 MIL x-ply panels before the main body panels. This "stripe" helps to smooth and control the direct feeling of the cambered sails and it adds some extra resistance to this highly stressed area.

TRIM

It's highly recommended to use the GT3-Foil on our RDM masts. Use our black and white VISIAL TRIM INDICATORS on the batten pockets as a reference for the correct downhaul tension. By holding the rigged sail at the foot (while the top is touching the ground) the wrinkels of the loose leech should reach from the leech to the colour change on the batten pockets. Don't put significantly less downhaul tension than this as the sail body needs this tension to be stable and locked.
Use the outhaul tension to adjust the sail to your needs:
Experienced race foilers mostly prefer a flat and locked sail with more outhaul. Alternatively the GT3 will create more power with less outhaul tension for the fin sailor.

Offering all parts separately gives the top riders the freedom to find their magic setup while the indermediate riders can choose the best combo for their budget.

f-race Freerace (BITTE verfügbare Größen VOR Bestellung anfragen!)

OVERVIEW

Most brands simply re-use old slalom models and reduce the size of the cutouts and set the straps more inboard and introduce this as the latest freerace design. Our development was done together with purely dedicated free-racers and some pro-riders who were amazed by the performance in powered conditions against pure competition slalom boards. The slightly longer flat under the straps is the key feature for this shape and makes the board plane earlier and ride more stable and safer in rough conditions. With the smaller cutouts it's less loose and easier to control. Wanna go super fast without killing yourself on a competition slalom board? - The PATRIK F-Race is the perfect board for you!

WHAT'S NEW TO THE PREVIOUS MODEL:
- Modified computer-optimised cutout contours for reduced drag, better waterflow, more accelleration and more topspeed.
- Optimised strength-to-weight ratio and new graphics by Fabio Canella

SHAPE

DESIGN & FOOTPADS:

Colourful but simple and clean. This design is a timeless classic.
The 4mm thick diamond groove grip pad has an extra 6mm soft sponge under-layer which makes it a total of 10mm. It gives you a good connection to the board and enough shock absorbance to protect board and bones.

Scoop-Rocker:

The slightly extra longer flat between the straps makes the board more stable and does not react to foot pressure as quickly as slalom and is, therefore, more forgiving and keeps it speed more constant.

Volume distribution:

Even foot position for maximum performance and balanced body position. The thickness in the front strap to the nose is reduced for its lightweight while still keeping enough for flotation in non-planning conditions.

Outline:

The outline is identical to the same board width size as the Slalom but is extended in the center to the extra length. The slightly more parallel outline effect into a bit more stability.

Bottom Shape:

The double concaved V with stabilizing side flats from the nose to the front strap absorbs the chop and gives a comfortable ride. The flat panel V under the straps is releasing the water on the upwind rail when the board is pushed onto the leeward rail and therefore increases acceleration and speed and makes the board maneuver controlled trough the jibes.

Rails / Tuck:

The boxy rails in the strap area are comfortable and powerful to push against the fin and drive the board up to top speed and let it fly over the chop. The rails in front of the straps towards the nose are very boxy in comparison to the thickness and let the water flow of the rail low with the least friction.

Deck Shape:

A flat deck through the whole board is a stable platform in non-planning conditions and jibes.

Fin box and inserts:

Short Tuttle box for 100, 110 and the Deep Tuttle Foil box for 120, 130, 140, 150. Inside and outside strap position on in front and in the back with every 4x holes for individual settings.

CONSTRUCTION

For this board instead of the Biax Carbon used on the Slalom boards the dedicated Freeracer wished for a more impact-proof material and the full Carbon/Kevlar is just the right material for lightness and extra strength. On the bottom the decision was clear and the more comfortable ride with the Biax Glass is no doubt the right choice.

DEDICATED FREERIDE FOIL SAIL FOR CONTROLLED FLIGHT AND EASY PROGRESS.

OVERVIEW

Light and stable in your hands for are smooth and controlled ride on any foil board. Based on the concepts of our race winning slalom foil sails we've managed to transfer the locked, low-backhand-pressure design onto the Ride Foil. The high aspect profile gives you improved aerodynamics for early takeoff and good top speed. The short boom and carefully designed twist characterics make your flight controlled, easy and stable without sudden load changes. This might well be the most user-friendly and powerful freeride foil sail out there. We're absolutely stoked about the outcome of this sail!

CONSTRUCTION

Ease-of-use in the "PATRIK"-way. We carefully selected a no-compromise light but durable construction especially for our freeride sail range.
The luff panel is a 2.5 MIL x/scrim-ply which loads gently but is more robust and higher load resistant compared to the dacron.

TRIM

The ride on a foil sail needs to be smooth and easy otherwise the changing power load will get you out of balance and into trouble. So make sure to put enough downhaul as indicated by the change of colour on the batten sleeves. Use the outhaul to select the amount of backhand power you prefer according to your size and body weight. Use the lower clew position in strong winds or when feeling overpowered. Please note that the small sizes are RDM only while the big sizes can be rigged on SDM for some extra power. Still we highly recommend using RDM on all Ride Foil sizes for the most controlled, light and easy flight feeling.

OVERVIEW

SPEED-SLALOM IS BACK!

DEFI FRC 59
This board is an adaption of the pure competition shape DEFI LTD to give you an easier ride on the limit and in the big gusts. An extended center line flat is adding great control and stability without comprising the top speed to much. The outline got extended in the center so tail and nose curve remain unchanged like the DEFI LTD. Patrik Diethelm decided for sightly deeper concaves to make your high-speed runs a little smoother in the chop. Tail rocker tail vee are exactly the same as on the LTD. Footstraps got moved a touch inboard forward and the mast track is positioned more forward than on the LTD for easier access and a less extreme ride.

DEFI FRC 64
Same shape concept as the small size. Less Vee than the smaller version for a higher ride in lighter winds and earlier planing. Bottom Contours from front to rear: Vee into double concave with side flats into slight vee at the front footstrap into a rockered tail with a more pronounced vee to keep the board nose up in the chop. Fast and easy with massive crosswind speed potential.

OVERVIEW

A complete evolution of what was already proven to be one of the fastest sails in the world. The goal was simple: maintain the same top-end speed, power and acceleration, while delivering a noticeably lighter and more responsive feel in the hands. This is the new RACE LA GEN2 (Low Aspect).

Starting with the construction and materials, every panel was carefully analysed to optimise the balance between weight and durability, but also focusing specifically on stiffness and feel. The result is a refined material layout and a reworked leading-edge load distribution, creating a structure that feels both exceptionally stable and impressively alive on the water.

Updates to the outline, sleeve width and especially the clew position have increased drive and efficiency, improving upwind performance and acceleration out of gybes or when entering the speed course.

The overall result is stronger acceleration, improved upwind performance and excellent top-end control — all combined with a lighter handling feel that makes gybing easier and reduces physical effort on the water.

Lighter in the hands. Faster on the water. The new RACE LA GEN 2

CONSTRUCTION

We’ve stripped weight where it’s felt most, maintaining the rigid frame essential for high-performance power and control. By relocating the top three batten tensioners forward, we’ve minimized swing weight at the leech for a freer, more responsive head. Our optimized reinforcements and material selection deliver a superior strength-to-weight ratio that resists stretching—even after a full season of racing. Designed with Swiss precision and battle-tested by our R&D team, PATRIK sails offer the durability that 'disposable' ultra-light sails simply can’t match.

NEW FEATURES

  • Completely redesigned and resized range, now offering a more complete line-up up to 9.0m

  • Refined outline with a 4–5 cm higher clew position for increased power, improved upwind performance and expanded tuning range

  • Wider upper sleeve for improved efficiency and more locked-in power delivery

  • New clew eyelet system offering increased tuning options and more direct load distribution

  • Updated profile and batten specifications for improved performance across the entire wind range

  • Revised materials and construction for improved balance, lighter handling and enhanced feel

OVERVIEW

When you wish your kid to fell in love with windsurfing this board is for you. The Micro Ride is a fully EVA padded board dedicated to kids. With its 34 cm center power box fin that works like a daggerboard, any kid can learn the absolute basics. The board is small enough that even a 4-year-old kid does not have problems turning it around. When your kid progresses, you can mount the foot straps in various positions to comfortably learn to use the straps. Once he is ready to go planning the central fin is removed and he becomes the real micro rider = windsurfer!

RANGE OF USE

The Micro-Ride 115 is shaped and designed for kids from 5 to 15 years old.
Kids can use it from flatwater light wind conditions to about 20 knots of wind, but we suggest using it on flat water only for safety reasons.

OVERVIEW

Originally developed as a true hybrid design, the RACE MA quickly became a permanent part of our World Cup team riders’ quivers. “MA” stands for Medium Aspect Ratio, and by combining everything learned from the development of both the LA and HA ranges, the new MA brings together the best characteristics of each to create the ultimate hybrid racing sail. Whether blasting on the fin or flying on the foil, the RACE MA GEN 2 delivers a perfectly balanced and controlled feel across a wide range of conditions.

A slightly straighter luff curve compared to the LA reduces back-hand pressure and improves control in stronger winds. At the same time, the power delivery is smoother and more progressive, creating a more comfortable and forgiving ride without sacrificing performance.

The RACE MA is especially suited to lighter-weight riders and recreational racers who want high efficiency and versatility, with a lighter feeling and easier handling. It excels on long reaches, cross-wind and gusty conditions and remains highly effective across changing wind and water conditions. At the same time the MA offers outstanding usability on foil with slighty more backhand response for early flight and the ability to ride smaller sail sizes.

Top-level performance — whatever the conditions.

Our optimized reinforcements and material selection deliver a superior strength-to-weight ratio that resists stretching—even after a full season of racing. Designed with Swiss precision and World Cup approved by our R&D team, PATRIK sails offer the durability that 'disposable' ultra-light sails simply can’t match.
